Ways to Serve

Today's challenge is to get dirty! Choose a service that will get you sweaty and dirty today. Get out there and dig in!

  • Yard work, gardening, or pull weeds – for your family, your neighbors.

  • Neighborhood cleanup – go to a pond, beach, or park, or just walk around the neighborhood looking for trash.

  • Trim bushes for an elderly neighbor

  • Buy some seeds and plant a vegetable (grow it and donate the veggies!)

  • Clean out your garage, looking for useful items to donate to those in need.

  • Deep clean the bathrooms in your house

  • Visit a local cemetery and pull weeds around tombstones, and pray for each person buried there.

  • Go for a walk in a park and pick up trash

Tuesday Teen Reflection Questions While Serving:

While serving today, think about these things:

  • How does your service today help you become "holy ground"?

  • Are you able to identify others as being "holy ground"?

  • If you are able to see the "holy ground" in both yourself and others, what do you hear God saying to you through this acknowledgment?

Take pictures and tag @GoodSamProject and remember #GSPHolyGround!
