The Good Samaritan Project Team is a dedicated and faith-filled group of college-aged individuals whose priority is to assist in bringing teens deeper into the Sacraments, Service, and Community that the Good Samaritan Project seeks to provide for its participants.
We have made slight changes to the role of college leaders for this upcoming summer.
There is a great benefit of having Project Team leaders spend more time with parishes, schools, and the youth with less time behind the scenes running various elements. For 2019, we want our college leaders to spend the whole week serving alongside the teens from their parishes and schools.
With this new approach, it would be unfair for us to take applications and assign leaders to work directly with parishes and schools. Therefore, we are asking each group leader to consider bringing college leaders to represent their respective groups.
If you are interested in serving on this team, reach out to your home parish or school to express your interest.
If selected, we will begin our team planning after Easter. Please plan on arriving the Saturday before the program begins to help us set up and go over the program and its entirety so that you can effectively serve your group when they arrive on Monday afternoon.
Daily roles include: activities and program set up, serving alongside parish and school teams, facilitating small group conversations, leading prayer, joining in on rec time and more.
Must be between the ages of 18 and 24 and a high school graduate (or will be).
